About Conference Participation

Participation in the 17th International Conference "Dynamical Systems Applied to Biology and Natural Sciences"

The 17th International Conference on Dynamical Systems in Biology and Natural Sciences (DSABNS 2026) took place from February 2 to 6, 2026, in Granada, Spain.

DSABNS is an annual scientific event founded in 2010 that brings together researchers in applied mathematics, theoretical biology, epidemiology, ecology, and related disciplines. More than 240 researchers from different countries around the world participated in the conference.

The scientific program of the conference was interdisciplinary in nature and included:

- An Honorary Lecture by Professor Carlos A. Braumann (University of Évora, Portugal) on the topic "Living in random environments."

- 30 plenary and invited talks by leading specialists.

- 15 mini-symposia dedicated to current directions — from modeling infectious diseases to neurobiology and evolutionary dynamics.

- Parallel sessions with oral presentations and a poster session

At the conference, N.V. Stankevich, Leading Research Fellow of the Laboratory of Topological Methods in Dynamics at HSE University — Nizhny Novgorod, presented a poster with results obtained within the framework of the HSE University "International Academic Cooperation" project on the topic: "Machine Learning and Nonlinear Dynamics: Intersection, Interaction, and Synthesis." The poster "Multistability and Shilnikov Singular Attractors in the Chialvo Map," was actively discussed with colleagues from Israel, Italy, Uruguay, Hungary, and other countries.

Participation in the DSABNS 2026 conference allowed for the presentation of scientific results to the international community, familiarization with cutting-edge research in mathematical biology and dynamical systems, and the establishment of new professional contacts with colleagues from leading research centers in Europe and the world.

Participants also had the chance to enjoy Granada's cultural offerings, including visits to the Alhambra palace and the city's historic center, providing a well-rounded conference experience that balanced academic exchange with local exploration.
