Russian Language Centre listeners of HSE - Nizhny Novgorod took part in the Youth Assembly «DruzhNO».
The international Assembly “DruzhNo” held its first large-scale event, bringing together students from 31 countries.
The tour program was full of a variety of educational and entertaining activities aimed at improving the skills of intercultural communication among the participants.
The educational part of the event included an information session “Your opportunities” on board the ship. The experts shared with international students information about career opportunities, available educational programmes and social projects planned for implementation in the upcoming academic year.
The excursion programme, made by professional guides, let the tour participants not only admire the picturesque views of Nizhny Novgorod, but also get acquainted with the rich historical and cultural heritage of the city.

An important event took place today. The event was attended by students from different universities. The participants represented different fields of study. All the students actively answered the quiz questions. We learned a lot of interesting things about the traditions of different countries. It was a useful experience of intercultural communication. I learned about the culture of different countries and met new friends.

Today was a wonderful day. Our trip lasted four hours, and the time passed is very interesting. At first we participated in an event where we presented our educational institutions. When we announced the name of our university, we were very happy. The program included a quiz on Russia. About ten students actively answered questions. After the quiz, we took a break for lunch. Especially interesting was the performance of foreign students. Guys from Africa and other countries sang songs in Russian. It was very fun and entertaining.
Overall, the trip left a pleasant impression. I am glad to have participated in this event.
