Intensive Course сompletion: Chinese Students Receive Certificates
Over the course of five months, the participants had classes not only in Russian language, but also in social studies and math.
The listeners actively participated in various events on multiple occasions: the XVI International Student Scientific-Practical Conference “The Role and Place of the Russian Language in the Modern World” (Belgorod State University), the project “Interactive Quest Map ‘LiNNguotour’” with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs “Rosmolodezh” (Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod), the “Foreign Languages Day ‘HSE Languages’’” (HSE University), the BRICS Friendship Cup football tournament, the I Cross-Cultural Festival “World Palette of Cultures” (Dobrolyubov State Linguistic University of Nizhny Novgorod), etc.
In the end of June before the final exam students signed postcards featuring views of Nizhny Novgorod to send to their parents, which we hope will reach their addressees.
Another memorable event was the speaking club where participants, divided into small groups, consolidated their knowledge in Russian, practiced various types of speech activities and watched Russian Cartoons. The speaking club was led by the Russian Language Centre students trainees.
