Abstract

There is no one who has never had to organise a project in his or her life. Writing a graduate thesis or a scientific article, organising a holiday or a trip, not to mention business initiatives - these are all examples that meet the necessary characteristics of a project: they are time-limited, they are planned to be implemented at a cost that should not be exceeded. Most importantly, the result of such an activity is unique, as no two articles written in the same way or organisations designed in the same way are the same! The project can be planned and realised intuitively. In this case, it is not surprising if the expected timeframe is violated, costs exceed the desired value, and the result is not quite what was imagined at the project conception stage. It is possible to manage the project according to certain rules, using methods and tools developed by project management professionals. Then it will be easier to plan, execute and control the result of work, and the communication of your project ideas to partners, investors, colleagues and just potential helpers will be much more effective. The course "Project Management" is precisely about such methods and management tools that will help to plan a project and bring it to the desired result.
