Things to keep in mind when choosing courses

Module for attending courses

If you are going to study at the HSE in the fall semester, you should choose courses that take place in the 1st and 2nd modules. If you are coming for the spring semester, you should choose the courses of the 3rd and 4th modules.

Faculty and level

Exchange students do not have a pre-defined curriculum, so they can choose courses from any bachelor's or master's degree faculty. However, most of the courses should correspond to your specialty at your home university.

Number of places

The number of places in each course is limited.

Preliminary requirements for course participants

Course may have prerequisites (a Transcript of Records/a Letter of Recommendation/an entrance test);

Schedule

A course may be cancelled/postponed or the timetable may be changed due to professor’ plans changed or programme redesign.

The course schedule is available immediately before the start of the semester. In this regard, it is possible to overlap the time of several courses you have chosen. In this case, you will need to cancel your appointment for one of the courses that coincided in time at the beginning of the semester.
