Notarization of Documents/Translations

To get a document notarized:

• visit a notary public;
• prove your identity (the notary will ask you to present your passport and the original document to verify that it is true; notarized translation of the passport is required for foreigners);
• sign the documents.

The translation of the passport should be done in the translation office and then verified by the notary office.

When you’ll get to the office, you should tell the employee that you are an HSE student and you need a notarized translation of your passport. The employee will make copies of your passport and tell you the cost. You can pay in cash or by card immediately or after receiving the notarized translation. You should also give them your Russian phone number.

On average, the translation is prepared within 2 working days; when ready, an agency employee will call you. You can pick up the translation according to the agency's work schedule.

! Do not forget to show your valid visa so that they can make a correct notarized translation of the passport.
