Course Syllabus

Abstract

The objectives of mastering the discipline "International Finance" are to develop students' comprehensive knowledge of the laws of the functioning of the world monetary system, as well as the principles of conducting monetary policy in both developed and developing countries. A significant part of the course is devoted to the discussion of monetary systems (the historical part of the course) and currency regimes, their comparative analysis. The course also discusses the most popular models of international finance, in the center of which is the behavior of nominal and real exchange rates.
