I study at HSE

Citizens of Azerbaijan, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Armenia, and Uzbekistan do not need a visa to Russia.

Citizens of all other countries are required to apply for a study visa at the invitation of the HSE! If you have a valid tourist, private, business visa or a study visa from another university, you will need to cancel it and get a study visa at the invitation of the HSE. In some cases, it is allowed to study at the university on basis of a working visa.
