Venue and directions

The 2014 conference will be held in the premises of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the Higher School of Economics. The address is Rodionova Street, 136.

The ancient Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod is situated about 400 kilometers from Moscow on the river Volga. The local Strigino airport (GOJ) is connected with the city center with bus and mini-bus services. It takes about an hour to get there from one of the three Moscow international airports (SVO, DME, VKO).  Another option is the speedy Sapsan train which takes 4 hours to get from the Kursky railway station in Moscow.

There are several hotels in the area: Easy Room is in a close proximity to the conference, Hotel Diplomat, Gostiny Dom and Sergeevskiy Nagorniy are near the HSE headquarters, Ostrozhsky Val and Ibis are 10 minutes drive away.

Participants with non-Russian nationalities will need a visa to enter Russia. Please obtain visa in your local Russian consulate far in advance if you plan to attend the conference.
