Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course is designed to give a general idea of the system of modern Russian. During the course, the basic terms and concepts of linguistics will be revealed, the methods of language research will be demonstrated. The language will be shown as a system of interconnected levels and units that make them up. The special emphasis will be placed on working with vocabulary and lexical semantics. As a result, students will master the basic techniques of linguistic analysis. They will be able to confidently distinguish between norm and anomaly in speech.
