Nizhny Novgorod Students Impress Skoda Auto University Professor
On February 10-12, Emil Velinov, professor of marketing and management at Skoda Auto University (Czech Republic), visited HSE - Nizhny Novgorod as part of the Erasmus+ mobility programme.
During the visit, Professor Emil Velinov gave guest lectures to undergraduate and master's students about International Business in Emerging Markets and HR Practices in Multinational Companies. He was very interested in the educational approach at HSE - Nizhny Novgorod:
The level of English language proficiency, activity at lectures and involvement in discussions of Nizhny Novgorod students are extremly impressive. The campus has a surprisingly democratic atmosphere, which is not typical for a research University of such a high level and that's great!
Professor Velinov also held meetings with faculty members of the Faculty of Management. The professors from both universities agreed to continue collaboration on academic programmes and joint research, and also start writing an article for the international academic journal. The research topic will be related to green marketing and the behavior of car buyers.
In the fall of 2020, Prof. Emil Velinov will visit HSE – Nizhny Novgorod as a guest lecturer again. He is going to give lectures and seminars on Human Resource Management to undergraduate students. Also, he will visit Marketing Strategies classes in the master’s programme in Marketing and will conduct a student workshop. The professor will discuss the research approaches and tools used at his home university.
