“Business-Informatics” on the international level
At the end of April, Alessio Maria Braccini, Associate Professor at a partner university of Tuscia (Viterbo, Italy), visited the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Nizhny Novgorod. He delivered a lecture to the students of the Master program "Business Informatics", devoted to the peculiarities of modeling business processes in an enterprise using ontologies. The lecture caused great interest among students, since many of them develop similar topics as part of their research work.
Pavel Malyzhenkov, Academic Director of the Master program in "Business Informatics":
“This visit was carried out within the framework of the Erasmus Plus project, which connects the NRU HSE Nizhny Novgorod with the University of Viterbo for two years. Last year, similar visits were made by both Italian colleagues to Nizhny Novgorod and by Russian teachers to Italy. Such work will contribute to the realization of joint projects in the field of business informatics in particular and to the expansion of international relations of the Master program in general"
Alessio Maria Braccini (University of Tuscia, Viterbo, Italy):
“Internationalization at the present stage of development of higher education is an important factor in the positioning of universities. From this point of view, the Higher School of Economics has very strong potential, especially given its membership and active participation in the activities of the European partner network ERCIS (European Research Center for Information Systems) https://www.ercis.org/sites/ercis/files/structure/downloads/ercis_annual_report.pdf . During the lecture I was also convinced in the high level of training of Nizhny Novgorod students and I am sure that they are fully capable of implementing international projects on both educational and scientific fields".
