Business Informatics

This programme trains experts who will be able to outline corporate policies in information systems and ICT (information & communication technologies), develop comprehensive plans for corporate strategic and ICT development, create information models for business processes, and specify the contents and functions for information systems. Students work with real applied and fundamental research projects that are being carried out by the Theory and Practice of Decision Support Systems Laboratory in Nizhny Novgorod.

“Business-Informatics” on the international level

At the end of April, Alessio Maria Braccini, Associate Professor at a partner university of Tuscia (Viterbo, Italy), visited the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Nizhny Novgorod. He delivered a lecture to the students of the Master program "Business Informatics", devoted to the peculiarities of modeling business processes in an enterprise using ontologies. The lecture caused great interest among students, since many of them develop similar topics as part of their research work.
