Course Syllabus

Abstract

This course explores content personalization algorithms and methods for building systems that predict user preferences. Key approaches to creating recommender systems are discussed: collaborative filtering, content-based methods, and hybrid models. Particular attention is paid to the practical aspects of developing and evaluating the quality of recommendations, as well as modern approaches based on machine learning.
