I International conference “Modern Econometric Tools and Applications”

 

The Higher School of Economics and the New Economic School are pleased to host the international conference “Modern econometric tools and applications” to be held in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, on September 18-20, 2014.

The conference will consist of contributed sessions, poster sessions and several invited talks featuring a few important themes in modern econometrics.

Accepted papers will be grouped into contributed sessions according to thematic content. There will also be one or two poster sessions. The deadline for paper submissions for contributed and poster sessions is March 31, 2014.

Invited talks will have a format of short courses covering hot topics in modern econometrics. The invited speakers are: Stanislav Anatolyev (New Economic School, Russia), Eric Gautier (ENSAE ParisTech, France), Rustam Ibragimov (Imperial College London, UK), and Victoria Zinde-Walsh (McGill University, Canada).

There is no conference fee. The participants are expected to take care of their travel, accommodation and meals. For presenters of accepted papers, a limited number of small grants partially paying off travel and/or accommodation are available. There will be a welcome party for all participants and a group excursion to city landmarks.
