Participation in the international conference of Mathematical centers

From August 9 to 13, the Sirius Center hosted an international conference of world-class mathematical centers, which was attended by employees of the International laboratory of dynamical systems and applications and the Department of Fundamental Mathematics, as well as students of the Faculty of Informatics of Mathematics and Computer Science.


As part of the Year of Science and Technology, the first international conference of the ICMU was held in Sochi. It was organized by the Sirius Educational Center and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, and the participants were representatives of the Russian and world mathematical community. The staff of the international Laboratory of Dynamical Systems and Applications took part in the work of thematic sections, where the issues of applied mathematics and mathematical modeling, combinatorics and geometry, computability theory and mathematical logic, nonlinear dynamics and control, and much more were discussed. Graduate students and young scientists had a unique opportunity to present the results of their scientific work in the form of posters and get an assessment of their achievements from leading mathematicians.
