Mini-symposium at the International Conference on Dynamical Systems

At the end of May 2021, researchers of the TMD laboratory N.V. Stankevich and the international DSPlaboratory Kazakov A.O. organized a mini-symposium within the framework of the internationalconference SIAM Conference on Applications of Dynamical Systems (DS21), held in a virtual format.

The international SIAM Conference on Applications of Dynamical Systems (DS21) was held in virtual format from 23 to 27 May. This conference is annually held by the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics and traditionally brings together the largest specialists from various fields involved in the study of nonlinear systems.

Within the framework of the conference, the staff of the TMD laboratory N. Stankevich and the international DSP laboratory Kazakov A. a mini-symposium "Multidimensional chaos: from theory to applications" was organized. The mini-symposium was devoted to modern aspects and directions of the theory of dynamic chaos. Three sessions were organized, consisting of 11 invited talks. Within the framework of the mini-symposium, talks were presented by the following specialists in the field of chaos theory and its applications: Professor S. Gonchenko "Mixed Dynamics as a New Trend in the Theory of Dynamical Systems" (NRU HSE), K. Kaneko "Transition to High-Dimensional Chaos in Coupled Maps: Chaotic Itinerancy, Chaotic Griffith Phase, and Toric Chaos" (University of Tokyo, Japan), K. Letelier "Chaos Taxonomy: a Topologically Based Classification of Chaotic Attractors" (University of Normandy, France), T. Lazaro "Dynamics in a Time-Discrete Food-Chain Model" (Polytechnic University of Catalunya, Spain).

Also the HSE University staff talks were presented:
Stankevich N., Kazakov O. "Universal Scenarios Associated with Torus Destruction Leading to Hyperchaos and Chaos with Additional Zero Lyapunov Exponents";
Garashchuk I., Sinelshchikov D. "Hyperchaos and Synchronization in a Model of Two Interacting Encapsulated Microbubbles";
Kuptsov P.  "Lyapunov Analysis of Transition to Hyperbolic Hyperchaos in a Nonautonomous Time-Delay System";
Karatetskaya E., Shikhmamedov A. "Hyperchaotic Attractors of Three-Dimensional Maps and Scenarios of their Appearance".
