Business Development

The annual workshop " Intercultural Communication: Comparing Business Etiquettes and Behaviour e.g. between Switzerland & Russia & How to Manage Cultural Misunderstandings with Mini-Case-Study " took place at the HSE University campus in Nizhny Novgorod. As always, it was dedicated to practical aspects of cross-cultural management. The event traditionally brings together experts, businessmen, and students from the Master's program "Business Development". This year, students from the Master's program "Finance" also joined.

Intercultural communication skills are essential in business, psychology, linguistics, and any field where interaction plays a key role. During the workshop, students from the master's program “Business Development” were introduced to the basics of intercultural communication in business using real-world case studies and saw how cultural differences affect professional interactions.

HSE University-Nizhny Novgorod has hosted a workshop on 'Intercultural Communication and Management: Swiss and Russian Views and Perspectives of Academia and Business.’ The workshop was organised by the Swiss Embassy in Russia.

Till December 20, 2023 HSE students will have an opportunity to assess the quality of their teachers’ work.
