Cultural Immersion

Cultural Immersion track is a natural extension to Social Studies track. It gives first-hand engagement with topics and issues discussed in class.

The city itself is among the oldest cities in the country built as a mighty seat of princes at the Eastern frontier of medieval Russia and turned the most prominent center of commerce in the Russian Empire. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, historic Nizhny contains over a hundred monuments of major cultural significance. HSE Summer School provides a detailed city tour as well as extended visits to most notable locations.  The programme also includes a series of side trips to historic locations in the vicinity.

The stay will be deepened by additional language course which is the best to discover mysterious Russian soul.
