Participance in 8th Europian Congress of Mathematics

A staff fellow of IL DSA and Department of Fundamental Mathematics took part in 8th Europian Congress of Mathematics.

The 8th European Congress of Mathematics took place in Portorož (Slovenia) from 20 to 26 June. It was supposed to be held a year ago, but due to the pandemic, it was initially postponed for a year, and then partially transferred to the online format for participants who could not come in person.

The congress also hosted a mini-symposium "Topological Methods in Dynamical Systems" organized by Grzegorz Graff, professor at the Gdansk University of Technology (Poland), and Piotr Oprocha, professor at the AGH University, Kraków (Poland). At this mini-symposium, a fellow researcher at the International Laboratory of Dynamical Systems and Applications and a lecturer and postgraduate student of the Department of Fundamental Mathematics Vladislav Kruglov gave a talk "The topological conjugacy criterion for surface Morse-Smale flows with a finite number of moduli".
