The conference "Quantization of Dissipative Chaos: Ideas and Means"

Since 16 to 20 of December 2019 senior researcher A.O. Kazakov, N.V. Stankevich and D. Turaev, scientific director of the Laboratory of Topological Methods in Dynamics participated in the international conference "Quantization of Dissipative Chaos: Ideas and Means", organized by the physical center of the city of Bad Honnef with the support of the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation.

A.O. Kazakov, N.V. Stankevich, D.V. Turaev, A.S. Gonchenko

The idea of the conference is to provide a platform for dialogue between two communities - researchers working in the field of open quantum systems, and those involved in the study of classical dissipative chaos. Among the honorary guest speakers were scientists from the UK, EU, USA, South Korea and Russia.

A.O. Kazakov and N.V. Stankevich presented their poster reports on the topics “On the merger of the chaotic attraction and chaotic repeller leading to the mixed dynamics” and “Specific type of chaotic attractors with additional zero Lyapunov exponent in spectrum in flows”, respectively, and D. Turaev delivered a plenary report "Adiabatic control of quantum mechanical systems".

Detailed information about the conference, as well as abstracts are available here.
