Chinese students arrive to HSE for Summer School on Law

The Russian-Chinese Summer School on Law has started at HSE Nizhny Novgorod. The Summer School is traditionally carried out by the Faculty of Law and our university’s Chinese partner, the South West University of Political Science and Law (Chongqing, China).

The Summer School has taken place for two years in a row, and this year, Chinese students are coming to HSE Nizhny Novgorod to study the foundations of Russian law – specifically intellectual, property, civil, and criminal law – as well as our country’s culture.

The Summer Schools in Nizhny Novgorod for Chinese students and the autumn schools in China for students of HSE’s Faculty of Law have both become a wonderful tradition. These are concrete steps that are meaningful for the cooperation agreement signed between our universities two years ago. Like last year, HSE students will head to China in September to learn about the legal system of our Eastern neighbor.
