The HSE in Nizny Novgorod now offers an English language Master’s Programme in Global Business.

The HSE in Nizny Novgorod now offers an English language Master’s Programme in Global Business.

This year 22 students from Austria, Italy, and Russia will be mastering the principles of working in the global economy. Until the middle of December, classes will take place at the HSE campus in Nizhny Novgorod. For the winter module, the programme will be taught at the Johannes Kepler University of Linz (Austria), and in the spring classes will switch to the University of Bergamo (Italy). In their second year of study, the students will be implementing joint business projects.

The Master’s Programme in Global Business is practice-oriented. Successful business people, entrepreneurs, and leading professors of our partners the Johannes Kepler University of Linz and the University of Bergamo, work as programme lecturers. During their studies, students will work on real business projects in Italian companies. Thus, they will be absorbed in business activity during their time in the programme.

According to Yulia Kuznetsova, Dean of the HSE Faculty of Management in Nizhny Novgorod, innovative techniques in education were applied to the programme study plan. The programme includes intensive business training using case studies. Learning Italian and German is also compulsory.

The programme focuses on educating specialists who will contribute to the active integration of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and the whole of Russia, into the world economy.
