Target Groups: The target groups of the school are students and young researchers interested in modern trends in data analytics and in approximation, including big data processing, new machine learning, data mining techniques and rational approximation with orthogonal polynomials. The school-conference is devoted to mathematical methods of data analysis related to network models. The main goal is to develop the fundamentals of network analysis and their connection with modern empirical and engineering approaches. Applications of network models in data analysis and machine learning will be considered as well. 

The approximation aspect, which is crucial in computer modeling, will also be covered. 

The main tools here are rational approximations defined by multi-indices on an integer lattice, quadrature formulas, Christffel--Darboux kernels, operator theory on graphs. The program of the school-conference includes invited lectures and talks, as well as special sessions with talks by young researchers and students. 

Lecturers at the school are internationally recognized experts in the field. Young researchers will have an opportunity to learn and understand a modern theoretical approaches and practical techniques in data analysis and approximation.

The school is a continuation of the successful Winter Schools and Conferences on Data Analytics and Approximation DA 2016,  DA 2017,  DA 2018,  ADA 2019  School-conference “Approximation and data analysis”, DA 2020, DA 2021, CAOPA 2021, DA 2022, CAOPA 2022 .

Registration:  The school-conference  is organized for last-year bachelor, master and PhD students. To attend the school as a participant you must register at the Sirius center web site before September 03, 2023. Sirius Mathematical Center provides a support for travel and stay in Sochi for selected registered students. Students are also encouraged to present the recent results of their research related to the topics of the school.
