Course Syllabus

Abstract

The mentor's seminar is the basis of the educational program, as it helps to build the student's individual learning path. Coaching sessions and training at the beginning of the program will help students formulate their individual development goals for the two years of study on the program. Together with academic mentors, elective disciplines, additional inter-campus courses and disciplines from other educational programs (mago-lego) will be selected in accordance with the current level of knowledge and the goals of the career development of each student. In addition, proposals from partners about internships, competitions, seminars and other events on the topics of the program will be received individually.

    In small groups (2-3 per.) prepare an analytical note with the analysis of the labor market for Product managers (PM). Each group should choose only one region for analysis. - Find 15-20 vacancies in this profession in the region (provide links to vacancies) from different sources (different job search sources) - Determine the share of vacancies in this profession in the total amount of vacancies in the region - Determine the functionality of PM (tasks to be done) - Determine the requirements for candidates for PM position (education, personal qualities, work experience, level of a foreign language, etc.) - Determine companies these vacancies predominantly come from (industry, size, name, etc.) - Wages for a given position in the region (determine the minimum wage for this vacancy, the maximum wage and average wage). - Determine the demand for that specialists on the labor market (you can use the opinions of experts from open sources) - Prospects for the profession (future perspectives, transformations in progress) - Career opportunities - Literature (at least 5-7 sources)
