Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course provides a foundational understanding of essential topics in Energy Economics, enabling a grasp of contemporary themes within the field at a graduate level. Theoretical models and empirical data and evidence form the core of the course. The course will cover a variety of theoretical and empirical topics related to energy demand, energy supply, energy prices, environmental consequences of energy consumption and production, and various public policies affecting energy demand, supply, prices, and environmental effects.
