Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course "Business and Organizational Agility" highlights the basic theoretical foundations and approaches, as well as major practical instruments of international management. Special emphasis is done on management of international companies in view of technological changes and the transition to the Industry 4.0; it focuses on new requirements for corporate social responsibility, cross-cultural management, and sustainable development. The course combines lectures and seminars, research projects, as well as self-study of educational materials – books, articles of distinguished management practitioners and theoreticians. Students acquire the skills of data search, analysis and interpretation, research work, presentation of their own judgments.

Learning Objectives

• Consider the main problem of modern management of organizational change management, learn about the main patterns of the process, sources of resistance to organizational change, methods for overcoming them, applying change management models to the analysis of practical situations and planning changes in organizations.

Expected Learning Outcomes

• 1) Описать, что необходимо для развития цифровых технологий; 2) Обосновать почему SAFe может быть базисом для гибкости бизнеса; 3) Сформулировать основные компетенции бизнес-гибкости;
• Уметь формировать базу методологических источников для решений различных практических задач в сфере гибких методологий управления проектами;
