Our second-year students prepared 2 presentations in which they shared with the participants of the Festival the results of their research. The first report presented by Abdou Wael Sayed Ahmed Mohamed from Egypt; Jimoh Nurudeen Oluwaseun from Nigeria; Wan Muhammad Ariff Bin Rahmat from Singapore ; Tursunov Asadulla Otaboy ogli from Uzbek republic, dealt with the problem of endangered languages. They discussed the situation with the Berber language in modern Egypt.

The other report, prepared by Mikulinsky Artem, Novikova Valeria, and Zhdanova Valeriaresearched thecorrelation between the school children’s motivation for studying English and several variables, such as the school children’s age, gender, and attainment at school. The findings of this research aroused interest of the audience, as they proved to go counter the existing stereotypes.
