Throughout the Applied Linguistics and Text Analytics Master’s program at HSEUniversity, we gained solid training on how to conduct rigorous linguistic research, as wewere constantly involved in research projects through specialised courses and scientificresearch internships. These first ventures into serious research inevitably propelled myresearch ambitions and affirmed my desire to continue along these avenues in doctoralstudies. Thanks to the support and advice of my professors, I was ultimately confidentenough to embark on this new academic journey, and now I am extremely happy to begin myPhD program at the Doctoral School of Philology at HSE University, fully prepared andequipped to boldly face the challenges of doctoral studies.
