Together and Global: the results of the semester on the programme " Global Business "
The HSE Nizhny Novgorod campus accepted international students of the Master's programme "Global Business" again after two years of break: in October, students from Johannes Kepler University (Linz, Austria) and the University of Bergamo (Italy) came to HSE University in Nizhny Novgorod to spend one academic semester together with Russian students. "Globalization will bring huge opportunities for the economy"
The Global Business master's programme has been began at the HSE-Nizhny Novgorod. Jointly with European universities and companies participating in the programme, students will be able to gain valuable experience working in international teams. This year, the Global Business master's programme accepted students from Russia, Botswana, Cameroon, India, Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, and Zimbabwe.
Lesson on management and leadership from business leader with international experience
On Jan 31 Dr. Florian Reiter, president of International Community Association of Nizhny Novgorod region (ICANN), Plant Manager of “Volkswagen Group RUS”, met with students of HSE - Nizhny Novgorod and shared with them his vision on managers’ functions in the constantly changing business environment. He spoke about the leadership role in the contemporary world as well as his international work experience in Germany, China, and Russia.
Faculty of Management Student Makes it to Fincontest Final
The Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation has conducted an All-Russian student contest on the financial markets called Fincontest. Olga Golyakova, a student in the HSE Faculty of Management in Nizhny Novgorod (programme in Management, Global Business track), made it to the finals in the contest.
