International Tea Party

The idea of having a party that would unite students from Newly Independent States, the USA, Europe, and Asia had been discussed many times, and at last International Students’ Club organized the event on November 19 (Saturday).

Director of HSE–Nizhny Novgorod Valery Zusman welcomed international students who gathered at the Austrian library. Songs, games, quests, performances and delicious national food from all over the world were in the agenda.

Zhanna Shabanova, a 3rd –year student of Law faculty, and Erkinbek Uulu Syrgak,  a 2d –year student of Management faculty, were perfect masters of ceremonies.

The Kyrgyz team performed folk epos. Russian students conducted a class on folk dances.  Ignazio Panades (the student of Global Business Master program) surprised the audience with card tricks.

The Moldovian students sang a beautiful song. And Chris Lloyd chose a composition from Rolling Stones repertoire for the concert.

Such events help young people understand each other better.

It has been decided to organize International Tea Parties each year.
