Summer School ‘Does Russia Have a Strategy? Understanding Economic Change’ Supported by DAAD
At the end of August 2017 the international summer school on Russia’s economic development ‘Does Russia Have a Strategy? Understanding Economic Change’ will be held at HSE Nizhny Novgorod for the fourth time. This year the school has again entered the list of summer schools, supported by the German academic exchange service DAAD.
Students from leading European and CIS universities will take part in the school. Students from HSE and other Russian universities can also participate in the event.
In addition to courses in economics the participants will also attend courses on intercultural communication, get acquainted with the peculiarities of doing business in the city’s largest companies and also gain unique experience of studying and communicating with students from different countries.
The school programme includes five sections:
- Features of monetary and fiscal policy in Russia
- Russian market transformation during crisis
- Risks on financial market in the Russian context
- Russian economy correlation with politics and information
- Intercultural communication
