Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada awarded Professor Panos Pardalos, Scientific Advisor to the Laboratory of Algorithms and Technologies for Network Analysis at the Higher School of Economics, an Honorary Doctor of Science degree on Tuesday, June 12, 2012.

 

Wilfrid Laurier University is a university located in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. It is named in honor of Sir Wilfrid Laurier, the seventh Prime Minister of Canada. Laurier offers a full range of undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of fields. Laurier is one of the fastest-growing universities in Canada (enrollment more than doubled from 1997 to 2006). The university is renowned for its broad research activity and strong professional programs.
