Professor Panos M. Pardalos was awarded the Caratheodory Prize by the international society of Global Optimization

The international society of Global Optimization has awarded the Caratheodory Prize to Professor Panos M. Pardalos in recognition of life scholarly achievements in the area of Global Optimization.

The international society of Global Optimization has awarded the Caratheodory Prize to Professor Panos M. Pardalos in recognition of life scholarly achievements in the area of Global Optimization. This was presented during the 2013 World Congress of Global Optimization in Yellow Mountains, China. Professor Pardalos gave an invited plenary lecture at the conference.

The previous Prize was awarded to Professor Hoang Tuy for his pioneering work and fundamental contributions to global optimization (for more detailed information use this link).
