Megagrants: the program was a success

The preliminary program results were summed up on June 18 at the Board of Russian Ministry of Education.

"I had the most interesting and nervous two years of my life". One of the foreign scientists spoke in such a way about the megagrant program.

From the starting point of the program the researchers published about 800 papers in ranking journals, issued 360 intellectual property objects, reported the Director of the advancement of science and technology Department Sergey Salihov. 53 laboratories deal with applied development. Among the invited scientists there are 45 people aged 45-60 years. It's important that young students from Russian institutes and universities ara actively engaged in the process of science research. In general  the government project launched in 2010 has already received a good appraisal from participants - the leaders of  the science world.
