Улла Ирфан, Выпускник 2025 года

It’s not easy to summarize years of a journey in just a few minutes — but I’ll try my best. So it’s been the Master’s in Management (Business Development). For many of us, this degree began as a dream, and today, two years later, it feels like yesterday that we made one of the most important and bold decisions of our lives, during uncertain times.
And if you think about it — not much has changed. We still make big decisions, but today, there’s a difference: We are now more prepared, inspired, and ready to dream even bigger. These years have transformed us — both personally and professionally. And without a doubt, HSE - Nizhny Novgorod has been instrumental in that process.
As an international student, this journey was more than just education. It was a lesson in resilience, in building cross-cultural bonds, and in truly believing that I belonged.
I can say — it wasn’t always easy. I had to adapt to a new language, a new system, and a new way of thinking. But in that challenge, I found strength. I found support. And I found community.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all our professors — From our very first class with Professor Elena, practicing business negotiation, To our final seminar with Professor Maria, exploring career paths and personal growth .And the many other brilliant minds who guided us along the way.
You didn’t just teach us. You challenged us. You inspired us. And you prepared us. Each of these experiences stretched our thinking, shaped our values, and pushed us to go deeper — Not just into problems, but into ourselves.
What I’m trying to say is: What we learned in those classrooms weren’t just lessons in management — they were lessons in life. Lessons we will carry with us forever.
And this journey would not have been complete without you (My class mates) —The wonderful, bright, people who made this experience unforgettable. The knowledge, ideas, and laughter we shared in classrooms, group projects, and long discussions created something far stronger than a network — We built a bond. A bond of respect, friendship, and gratitude.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the families who are here today — and those who couldn’t make it.
Thank you for believing in us, and for giving us the strength to live this dream. I thank HSE for empowering our minds and opening new possibilities.
