Course Syllabus

Abstract

Modern information systems. The basic concepts and algorithms are given in an overview. A concise overview of the technology stack involved is given. The discipline is aimed at developing students' programming skills and continues the sections on information technology and programming

Learning Objectives

• The purpose of this course is to form a systematic understanding of the theory among students and to form practical skills in the application of modern information processes, systems and networks in solving business informatics problems. The program includes lectures, practical exercises and assignments reflecting the actual application of the course materials in solving practical problems.

Expected Learning Outcomes

• Be able to create and work with networks in the Cloud
• Be aware of recent trends in computer networks
• Be aware of routing protocols
• Know common networking services
• Know computer networks security principles
• Know core concepts of computer networks
• Programmatically work with popular network protocols using modern networking frameworks/libraries
• Understand internal of IP protocol
• Understand internals of Domain Name Service
• Understand internals of TCP protocol
