Professor Pardalos was awarded the medal of "Recognition" of the HSE

Professor Pardalos, Academic Supervisor of the Laboratory of algorithms and technologies for network analysis, was awarded the medal "Recognition — for contribution to science and education".

Panos Pardalos, Professor at the University of Florida (USA), is one of the world's most famous computer scientists. His research on discrete optimization algorithms has received worldwide recognition and is widely cited by experts.

Since 2011, Professor Pardalos has been the Academic Supervisor of the Laboratory of algorithms and technologies for network analysis, established at HSE as one of the first international laboratories. The University is grateful to Professor Pardalos for his contribution in the development of science at HSE and for his active support for young researchers. Currently, the laboratory became a recognized international center working in the field of computer science and applications.
