Abstract

This course • Considers the model of computing systems as a hierarchy of interrelated information processing levels • Studies classification of computing systems by the type of architectural solutions and their scope of applications • Gives the knowledge of the main directions of development of computer technology on the state of art examples • Students will learn digital logic level, microarchitecture, instruction set architecture level, introduction to operation systems and assembler • Each IT specialist must study and can apply in his activity the Architecture of Computing Systems course

  • The goal of this course is to create a conceptual view of computing systems as a hierarchy of interrelated information processing levels.
  • Students will learn computing systems of different types, various architectural solution, and application.
  • Students will get a global vision of the main directions of development of computer technologies on the example of specific modern samples of it.
