Assessment materials comprise testing and assessment materials (TAM), which are used for ongoing and interim assessments in each course or internship. Samples are provided in the respective course syllabi, internship programmes, and state examination programmes (where applicable).
Full TAM versions are held within the departments responsible for delivering the courses, in electronic and/or hard-copy format. The departments determine the period for TAM's storage. Teaching and learning materials include Guidelines for Writing Final Theses as part of Final State Certification (FSC).

Quality assurance of a student’s mastery of their degree programme includes ongoing assessment, interim assessment, and Final State Certification (FSC). Information on whether a course includes an interim assessment and on the form of final state certification is set out in the degree programme curriculum; the schedule for these forms of assessment is provided in the academic calendar.
Ongoing assessment and interim assessment are governed by the Regulations for Interim and Ongoing Assessments of Students at National Research University Higher School of Economics and by the course syllabi. Final state certification (FSC) is governed by the Regulations on Final State Certification of Students in Bachelor’s, Specialist and Master’s Degree Programmes at National Research University Higher School of Economics.
