Course Syllabus

Abstract

This course examines key concepts and practices in organizational coaching. Organizational coaching focuses on developing managers' and employees' capabilities to enhance performance within complex business environments. It explores frameworks and practices that support leadership growth, behavioral change, and alignment with organizational goals.

Learning Objectives

• The course aimes at providing learners with the general understanding of the coaching practices and basic coaching skills.

Expected Learning Outcomes

• Learners differentiate coaching from training and counselling in organizational contexts
• Learners identify the key behavioral indicators of a mature coaching culture within a corporate environment
• Learners manage the tripartite contracting process among the coach, the executive, and the sponsoring organization
• Learners facilitate structured career transition conversations for employees
• Learners design coaching interventions that reinforce and transfer formal training content into sustained daily work practices
