'The Master’s in Global Business Will Be Implemented Fully in the New Academic Year'

The HSE Nizhny Novgorod campus accepted international students of the Master's programme "Global Business" again after two years of break: in October, students from Johannes Kepler University (Linz, Austria) and the University of Bergamo (Italy) came to HSE University in Nizhny Novgorod to spend one academic semester together with Russian students. 'Russia and Switzerland Have Much in Common': Workshop Held for Undergraduates of the Global Business Programme
HSE Nizhny Novgorod held the workshop 'Internationalization and Inter-cultural Management: Swiss and Russian Views and Perspectives of Academic Communities and Business', organized in partnership with the Bern University of Applied Sciences and the Swiss Embassy with the participation of business representatives. The purpose of the workshop was to expand students' knowledge in the field of intercultural interactions, communications and business development.

The Global Business master's programme has been began at the HSE-Nizhny Novgorod. Jointly with European universities and companies participating in the programme, students will be able to gain valuable experience working in international teams. This year, the Global Business master's programme accepted students from Russia, Botswana, Cameroon, India, Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, and Zimbabwe.

Although the road to the Global Business programme was not straightforward, once enrolled, Julien embraced all the opportunities available for Global Business students. An inspiring story of a Global Business graduate
In January 2019, the graduate of the first Global Business intake, Irina Tolkacheva, received her second master's degree in Global Business, this time from Johannes Kepler University in Linz. Irina essentially completed the double degree program before it was officially launched. Thanks to the fact that this academic year HSE and JKU signed a double degree agreement we did our best to solve most of the issues our students could encounter otherwise. "Global Business" programme signed the double degree agreement with JKU
In September 2018 Higher School of Economics in Nizhny Novgorod signed the agreement with Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) according to which HSE students can not only go on mobility to JKU but have an opportunity to get the second master's degree awarded by the Austrian university. This option is available on a competitive basis to the students who successfully completed the first international year of the Global Business programme.
The opening of the new edition of the Global Business programme
On October, 8 the master’s programme opening ceremony was held for all the participating students and guests. This year the international group of students consists of 24 young ambitious people from Russia, Austria, Italy, India, Pakistan, Egypt, and France.
