The USA Party!

On November 23 at 4 p.m., on the eve of Thanksgiving Day,  HSE-NN instructor Christian Lloyd and exchange student of the Humanities faculty Michelle Eggen presented the USA to International Club members and told the audience about the country’s history, customs, traditions, holidays and parks, famous people, popular sports and Thanksgiving celebration.

The idea of having a party that would unite students from Newly Independent States, the USA, Europe, and Asia had been discussed many times, and at last International Students’ Club organized the event on November 19 (Saturday).

International Club Meetings at HSE Nizhny Novgorod

International students gather together to speak about the history, culture and traditions of their countries at the regular International Club meetings at HSE Nizhny Novgorod. Presentations of national cuisine spice up these meetings, which bring together a lot of students and often result in fun performances with singing and dancing.

On November 24th 2015, students from China presented information about their country at the International Club meeting. The participants learned more about the character of our Eastern friends.

Those Weird Austrians

Two students from Johannes Kepler University,  Strahinja and Stefan Lazić, presented information about their country at the most recent meeting of the International Club.  The brothers spoke about the things that make Austrians proud, things they don’t like and what they aspire to. The presentation aroused great interest among the students.
