Attempting to Unravel the Riddle of Shakespeare in an Open Lecture at HSE Nizhny Novgorod

As part of the UK-Russia Year of Culture famous Russian critic and professor of literature, Igor Shaitanov delivered an open lecture at the HSE Nizhny Novgorod on questions of Shakespeare’s creative life. The event was part of the international conference ‘Russia and England: Counter-flow. Economics, Politics and Culture.’

Brazil is Coming Closer

On January 17, 2014, Elena Vasina, Director of the Translation Centre at the University of Sao Paulo will read a lecture on ‘Brazil: Politics, Culture, Language’ at the HSE in Nizhny Novgorod. The lecture is happening as part of the cooperation agreement between the two universities, signed in October 2013.
