An inspiring story of a Global Business graduate
In January 2019, the graduate of the first Global Business intake, Irina Tolkacheva, received her second master's degree in Global Business, this time from Johannes Kepler University in Linz. Irina essentially completed the double degree program before it was officially launched. Thanks to the fact that this academic year HSE and JKU signed a double degree agreement we did our best to solve most of the issues our students could encounter otherwise. In this interview Irina spoke to us about her journey to her Master of Science in Austria.
Gennady Ryabov Awarded National Order of Merit (France)
On January 25, 2019, the Insignia of Chevalier (Knight) of the French National Order of Merit was awarded to Gennady Ryabov, Advisor to the Director of HSE Nizhny Novgorod, by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Russia, Sylvie Bermann.
HSE Team from Nizhny Novgorod Win Silver Medal at ICC Moot Court Competition in The Hague
The final of the Russian-language moot court competition at the International Criminal Court (ICC) took place in The Hague. According to the results of the Russia-wide competition, which was held in April in Moscow, teams from Moscow State University and HSE’s campuses in Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow were selected to participate in the finals in the Netherlands.
Students of HSE Nizhny Novgorod Took Part in F. F. Martens International Humanitarian Law Competition
The F. F. Martens International Humanitarian Law Competition has been held by the regional delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Russia, Belarus and Moldova several times. This year, HSE students from Nizhny Novgorod took part in the competition for the first time and came away with some great results.
HSE Enters Top 50 in THE Young University Rankings Under 30 Years Old
In its 25th anniversary year, HSE has marked new achievements, entering the Top 50 in the Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings among universities under 30 years old, and in the Top 100 in the global Young University Rankings under 50. HSE has become the first Russian university to enter the top list of THE Young Universities, a global institutional ranking.
HSE-Nizhny Novgorod Named the Most Prestigious University in the City
In March 2017, A+ Independent Rating Agency interviewed parents of potential students asking them which Nizhny Novgorod higher educational institution they consider the most prestigious. 250 respondents took part in the survey.
