HSE Ranks Among Top 3 Russian Universities in THE Emerging Economies University Rankings
For the first time HSE University has placed among the top twenty universities in countries with emerging economies in the THE Emerging Economies Rankings. Ranking 18th, HSE now places among the top three Russian universities on the list. Earlier this year, HSE University was the third highest ranking Russian university in the THE World University Rankings.
Comparativistics in Linguistics: from Basics to Details
Alexei Kassian, famous linguist and senior research fellow of the RAS Institute of Linguistics, and someone whose name is associated with fascinating discoveries in the field of comparative-historical language studies, visited HSE University to give students in linguistics a lecture on the subtleties of phylogenetic analysis, computer tools, and the reconstruction of ancient languages.
HSE University Enters Top-5 of Best Russian Universities in National Survey
According to a national survey conducted by VCIOM, HSE University ranks fifth in the ‘People’s Ranking of Russian Universities’. A total of 1,600 Russians aged over 18 participated in the survey, which was carried out through phone interviews, relying on a random sample of landline and mobile numbers.
Open Doors Scholarship Competition for International Applicants: Register Now!
More than 40,000 participants from 183 countries have already registered for the Open Doors Scholarship Competition. The competition, which is held by the Association of Global Universities, gives international applicants the opportunity to enroll tuition-free in a Master’s programme of a participating Russian university of their choice without having to take entrance exams. The deadline to submit your portfolio for consideration is December 18.
